Pragmatic Play Debuts AI-Driven Live Dealer Personalization Engine in Stockholm

Pragmatic Play has unveiled a new AI-powered personalization layer for its live casino vertical, capable of dynamically adjusting table recommendations, side-bet offers, and dealer language preferences in real time. The system launches first with Swedish operator ATG and is expected to roll out across Tier-1 European markets through Q3 2026.

Pragmatic Play used its showcase at the iGaming NEXT Stockholm summit on Wednesday to launch LiveSense, an artificial intelligence layer designed to personalize the live dealer experience at the player level. The tool ingests session behavior, wagering patterns, and stated preferences to surface tailored table recommendations, contextual side-bet prompts, and even dealer-language matches within milliseconds of a player logging in. The supplier confirmed Swedish racing and betting giant ATG as its launch partner, with integration already live across a subset of blackjack and roulette tables broadcast from its Bucharest studio.

The move reflects a broader supplier-side pivot toward retention technology as live casino growth begins to plateau in mature European jurisdictions. According to figures shared during the keynote, Pragmatic Play's internal A/B testing showed a 14% lift in average session length and an 8% improvement in 30-day player retention when LiveSense recommendations were enabled versus a control group. Chief Operating Officer Irina Cornides emphasized that the engine operates within strict guardrails, automatically suppressing promotional nudges for players flagged by an operator's responsible gambling models.

Competitive pressure in the live segment has intensified since Evolution's acquisition of Galaxy Gaming closed earlier this year, and rivals including Playtech and Stakelogic Live have both signaled AI roadmaps of their own. Analysts at Regulus Partners noted that personalization layers are quickly becoming table stakes rather than differentiators, particularly as regulators in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK scrutinize how operators deploy behavioral data. Pragmatic Play said LiveSense has been independently audited by eCOGRA and complies with the EU AI Act's transparency requirements for high-risk consumer-facing systems.

Rollout to additional operators is scheduled in phases, with Romanian, Italian, and UK-licensed brands expected to gain access through Q3. The supplier is also reportedly in discussions with two Ontario operators to bring the technology to North America later in the year, pending review by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. For now, the Stockholm launch positions Pragmatic Play as the first major live casino provider to ship a production-grade personalization engine at scale — a milestone the company is betting will reshape how operators measure live dealer ROI.
