Relax Gaming Inks Multi-Year Content Deal With BetMGM Across Three US States

Malta-based supplier Relax Gaming has signed a content distribution agreement with BetMGM covering New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The deal will see more than 40 titles, including the flagship Money Train series, go live on the operator's US platforms throughout Q3 2026.

Relax Gaming announced Thursday that it has secured a multi-year content supply agreement with BetMGM, marking one of the supplier's most significant US expansions to date. The deal grants BetMGM access to over 40 Relax-branded titles across New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, with phased rollouts beginning in July and continuing through the third quarter. Headlining the catalog are the studio-defining Money Train 4, Temple Tumble 2, and Snake Arena Dream Drop progressive titles, alongside selected releases from Relax's Silver and Powered By partner programs.

The agreement follows months of regulatory groundwork, with Relax having obtained supplier certifications in all three target jurisdictions earlier this spring. BetMGM Chief Gaming Officer Andrew Dean said the partnership addresses growing player demand for high-volatility slot mechanics that have proven popular in European markets but remain underrepresented in the US iGaming mix. The operator has been steadily diversifying its content library after internal data showed that bonus-buy and feature-rich slot formats are driving disproportionate engagement among 25-to-40-year-old players.

For Relax Gaming, the deal represents a critical commercial milestone as the supplier looks to offset slowing growth in mature European markets. CEO Simon Hammon noted that US revenue contributed roughly 11% of total handle in 2025 but is projected to reach 20% by the end of 2026 on the back of the BetMGM agreement and pending go-lives with two additional tier-one operators. The company opened a New Jersey commercial office in February and has been recruiting localized math and compliance teams to accelerate certification timelines.

Industry analysts view the deal as further evidence that US operators are moving past the homogenized slot catalogs that defined the market's early years. With Light & Wonder, Pragmatic Play, and Hacksaw Gaming all expanding their stateside footprints, competition for premium shelf space at major operators is intensifying. Relax's emphasis on proprietary mechanics like the Dream Drop progressive jackpot network, which now spans 14 jurisdictions globally, may give it a differentiation edge as BetMGM seeks to defend market share against FanDuel and DraftKings in the iCasino vertical.
