Pragmatic Play Debuts Megaways Sequel 'Gates of Olympus Infinity' Across European Markets

Pragmatic Play has launched Gates of Olympus Infinity, the highly anticipated follow-up to its flagship Zeus-themed slot, featuring a new cascading grid mechanic and progressive multiplier system. The title goes live today across UK, Italian, and Dutch regulated markets with additional jurisdictions expected by Q4.

Malta-based content supplier Pragmatic Play officially rolled out Gates of Olympus Infinity on Monday, marking the third installment in what has become one of the online casino sector's most commercially successful slot franchises. The new release replaces the original 6x5 grid with an expanding grid system that can grow up to 8x8 during bonus rounds, alongside an uncapped multiplier feature the studio claims can theoretically reach 50,000x the stake. Initial deployment covers roughly 40 operator partners including LeoVegas, Betsson, and Holland Casino Online.

The launch strategy reflects Pragmatic Play's shift toward tiered regional rollouts rather than simultaneous global releases, a change Chief Business Development Officer Yossi Barzely attributed to increasingly divergent certification requirements across jurisdictions. "Each market now demands specific RTP configurations, volatility disclosures, and feature-buy restrictions," Barzely said in a statement accompanying the release. The Infinity edition ships with three RTP variants — 96.5%, 94.5%, and 92.5% — and omits the bonus buy option entirely in the Netherlands and UK to comply with recent regulatory guidance.

Industry analysts at Eilers & Krejcik Gaming noted that the original Gates of Olympus, launched in 2021, remains among the top ten performing online slots by GGR in more than a dozen European markets nearly five years after release, giving the sequel unusually strong pre-launch operator demand. Pragmatic Play reported that lobby placement commitments from tier-one operators were secured six months in advance, with several brands agreeing to exclusive 72-hour promotional windows.

The supplier also confirmed that Gates of Olympus Infinity will be integrated into its DropsWins network tournament ecosystem, with a €2 million prize pool campaign scheduled to run through September. A North American certified version is expected to reach New Jersey and Michigan by late Q4, pending GLI review, while Brazilian deployment is targeted for the platform's SPA-regulated launch window later this year.
